SPG’s Production Classification

I. Clear and amber moulded glass vials for injection type I,II,III, sizes from 5ml to 100ml: Glass containers for pharma use are glass articles intended to come into direct contact with pharmaceutical preparations. The hydrolytic stability of glass containers for pharma use is expressed by the resistance to the release of soluble mineral substances into water under the prescribed conditions of contact between the inner surface of the container or glass grains and water. According to the relevant chapters specified in CP, USP, EP, the hydrolytic resistance is evaluated by titrating released alkali, based on the hydrolytic resistance, glass containers are classified in three types: Type I glass containers are suitable for most products for parenteral and non-parenteral uses. Type II glass containers are suitable for most acidic and neutral aqueous products for parenteral and non-parenteral uses. Type II glass containers may be used for alkaline parenteral products where stability data demonstrate their suitability. Type III glass containers usually are not used for parenteral products or for powders for parenteral use, except where suitable stability test data indicate that Type III glass is satisfactory.

II. Infusion Bottles are made of soda-lime glass or borosilicate glass, we produce and supply type I and type II infusion in clear and amber colors, and also produce type I alkali resistance glass bottles which are suitable for high alkaline injection such as sodium bicarbonate.

III. Amber glass bottles, type III: the typical feature is that ultraviolet transmission should not exceed 10% at any wavelength in the range of 290nm-450nm, the products are widely used, mainly including medicinal oral liquid, powder antibiotics, health care products, functional beverages, cosmetics, nutritional supplements, tablet drugs, veterinary products and so on.

IV. Cosmetic glass container and food grade glass: we produce clear, amber, cobalt blue, green, black colors. It has a wide range of uses, including nail polish, perfume, cream, essential oil, wind expelling oil, cannabis, food, beverage and so on. Glass is made from all-natural sustainable raw materials, it is the preferred packaging for consumers’ concerned about their health and the environment, consumers prefer glass packaging for preserving a product’s taste or flavor and maintaining the integrity or hearlthiess of food and beverage.

V. Glass tube, ampoules and vials made of glass tubes: according to the needs of customers, we produce and supply flexible price of 5.0-7.0 COE of borosilicate glass with different rate of boron content. Ampoules made of 5.0-7.0COE tubes all meet the requirements of type I glass, Tubular vial made of 5.0-5.6 COE tubes all meet type I requests, for vials made 7.0 COE only with sulfur treatment can meet type I requirements.

VI. Prefilled syringes and glass cartridges: we mainly produce prefilled syringe for use of vaccines, heparin, hyaluronic aicd and biological preparation. Glass cartridges are used for anesthetics and insulin products packaging.

VII. Rubber and plastic closures: Rubber closures for containers for aqueous parenteral preparations, for powders and for freeze-dried powders are made of materials obtained by vulcanization (cross-linking) of macromolecular organic substances (elastomer), with appropriate additives. We produce chlorobutyl and bromobutyl normative rubber stopper for powder and lyophilization, rubber stopper and disc for infusion, Teflon coated rubber stopper, rubber plunger for PFS and cartridge.
